An update has been issued after concerns were raised about the new Balgray Station.
Councillor Chris Lunday highlighted the issue of the lift at Platform One being out of use at the site, which had caused an issue for a constituent who relies on walking sticks.
The person in question had to use the stairs which the fault was ongoing.

However, the local representative for Barrhead, Liboside and Uplawmoor has now confirmed on social media that the lift has been repaired.
The SNP politician also concerns from residents about the footbridge being very dark.
Network Rail has now confirmed the bridge lighting had developed a fault and has now been repaired.
The station is continuing to be closely monitored.
