A Barrhead dad has admitted to being concerned in the supply of drugs.

Michael Hoy admitted to being concerned in the supply of cannabis on June 2, 2023, at his Balgraystone Road home.

The Crown made an application for confiscation which was served upon Hoy.

The 39-year-old’s defence agent asked the court to call for background reports before sentencing stating Hoy is a single-parent with caring responsibilities for his son.

Sheriff Moira Price adjourned sentencing for the preparation of a criminal justice social work report and a restriction of liberty order assessment until November 19.

The Crown’s application was continued until the same date.

Hoy had his bail continued meantime.
