Josh Rock bizarrely lost a dart during his last-16 European Championship defeat to Jonny Clayton.

The Northern Irishman was looking to hit a big score in the second leg of the match after opening with 80 in his first two darts.

His third dart hit the one in the treble 60 and deflected out into a light underneath the board on the stage.

Referee Charlie Corstorphine and his scorer spent 30 seconds fishing it out before eventually reuniting the tungsten with its owner.

Rock was fully equipped again, but could not find his best darts as Clayton went on to win 10-8.
